So, what is the PROPPR and its purpose?
The PROPPR is a wellness product that has been making waves in the health and wellness industry over the last few years. Along with our recent finalist nominations in the Asia Pacific Spa and Wellness awards, the PROPPR has previously been awarded an Australian Good Design Award and it was also a finalist in the SHE.com awards last month, which is an awards program celebrating female led eCommerce businesses.
The purpose of the PROPPR is simply described by its name – it puts you in the ‘PROPPR’ position to poo, which is all about ‘PROPPing’ your feet up to simulate the squat position on a western pedestal toilet.
As humans we are designed to squat in order to “eliminate” properly, however since the advent of the pedestal toilet, the innate instinct to squat has largely been lost; causing a host of health problems in western countries. The PROPPR bathroom foot stool has been designed to place your feet at exactly the right height to replicate the squat position for a more effective release.
The science is simple. The hip flexion achieved by squatting (PROPPing), straightens the kink in the lower part of your colon and waste passes with ease. Going to the loo for a #2 will be easier, quicker and more complete.
